Ratings review: Timeform reaction to Doncaster and the Irish Champions Weekend

Luxembourg won the Irish Champion Stakes on Saturday. Luxembourg won Royal Whip Stake by a neck last month. Grand Prix de Paris winner Onesto finished second by half a length. The colt is rated 128p. He is the joint-highest-rated colts from this season's classic generation. Baaeed is ranked 138. Baeeed and Luxembourg will meet in the Prix du l'Arc de Triomphe.

Tahiyra won the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday 11 September. She is a half-sister to the multiple Group 1 winner Tarnawa. Tahiyr's rating of 116P places her 5 lb ahead of Trillium and The Platinum Queen among the European-trained juvenile fillies. She also has a higher rating among colts. The rating is higher than Little Big Bear and Noble Style.

Trillium and The Platinum Queen won the Flying Childers Stakes at Doncaster on Sunday 11 September. It was the first time Trillum had run since Goodwood. The platinum queen had finished runner-up in the Nunthorpe. Highfield Princess was beaten by Trilium inside the final furlong.

Highfield Princess won the Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday. She followed up her win in the Prix Maurice de Gheest with an emphatic victory in Nunthorpe at York. Highfield and Golden Pal will meet in Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint. GoldenPal is rated 129, but must concede 3 lb to Highfields Princess.

Kyprios won the Irish St Leger on Sunday. He was given a positive ride by Ryan Moore. Trueshan has a higher Timeform rating based on his performance in the Northumberland Plate. He ran third behind Kyprio at Goodwood Cup and was turned over at long odds-on in Doncaster Cup.

Adayar won conditions stakes at Doncaster on Thursday. He was the first horse since Galileo 20 years ago to complete the Derby-King George double in the same season. Adayer has a Timeform rating of 130. Only Baaeed has higher rating than A dayar.
