A quality beginners’ chase. ZANAHIYR is a high-class hurdler and, while he was well beaten by Fact To File on chasing debut, there was no disgrace in that and he can take this with a better round of jumping. Aspire Tower is also a quality hurdler and ran well behind Il Etait Temps on chasing debut, so can do so again. Mighty Tom should be in the mix too.

THEDANCINGFARRIER (nap) was fourth to Added Bonus in this last year and ran his best race for some time when runner-up in a beginners’ at Cork last time, so can win if repeating that. McGrath From Clune won over fences here in November and has been over hurdles since, so is feared back to this discipline. Prince Of Air has a squeak.

This looks like a weak race, and CLONSHIRE RIVER will be hard to beat if producing a display in keeping with his 114 official rating. Glendine Billy appeals as one that may come forward enough to go close, On Your Way was desperately green on his debut but may have derived enough benefit to feature now.

The one to beat is Supreme Novices’ entry KINGS HILL after an excellent run in a strong Leopardstown maiden hurdle. Cappucino has fair placed form and may give him most to do. Dual Flat winner Queen Of Seduction has a place chance based on the first of her two hurdle runs. Bumper winner Crooked Tannie may also be competitive.

Few of these make any appeal. Toor Khov has shown decent bumper form and Our Boy Rocky is respected on his maiden form so far. Hollow Rodger is a recent point winner. The one to beat looks like ST CUTHBERT’S CAVE whose last run can be forgiven. He made a good debut at Fairyhouse in November.

About as weak a handicap hurdle as you will find. TOOR MOON has had a lot of opportunities but this may be his best yet. ily’s Choice is worth considering on her recent Fairyhouse third. Another Nightmare may be capable of bouncing back after a couple of lapses.

A point winner in 2022, Willie Mullins COCO MASTERPIECE has taken time to get to the racecourse but represents leading owners and can beat his stablemates Ballygunner Castle and Fishery Lane. The market can be informative regarding the Mullins trio. The locally-trained Ned In The Park can give them a race.
