Horse racing tips: Templegate's NAP loves her trips to Sedgefield and can win her fourth race at the track

TEMPLEGATE tackles an interesting Tuesday of racing confident of slamming home a few winners.

ONESTEPATATIME (12.50 Sedgefield, nap)

She loves her short hops up the A1 from trainer John Wainwright’s Malton yard.

She has landed three wins and a trio of places from just seven visits to Sedgy — including when winning gamely there earlier this month.

Cheekpieces always seem to do the trick and she had the sheepskin sideburns back on when doing well to get up on the line after meeting strouble in running.

A 4lb rise in the weights seems fair and her combination of stamina and a liking for the testing track can see her land another victory.

Reign Suepreme looks the main danger after winning in a photo here last month. He’s only 3lb higher but is the type that doesn’t always run the same race twice.

HARPER VALLEY (1.20 Sedgefield, nb)

Showed lots of promise earlier this year for trainer Rebecca Menzies. He ended the campaign with victory at Hexham — which is not unlike this track.

That built on a good second at Kelso were stamina is also very much at a premium. The handicapper has been realistic with his opening handicap mark and my fancy has more potential than today’s rivals.

Soft ground holds no fears and his capable trainer should have him ready for this return. Most of his rivals are hit and miss but Hashtag Boum was hampered when last seen in May and will appreciate these conditions.

TELEPATHIQUE (2.40 Southwell, treble)

Made a good start over hurdles when second to a decent type in Manimole at Newbury 19 days ago.

She has a bumper win on her CV and kept on strongly up the home straight. This looks a slightly more simple assignment and she should improve for her last run, which also came after seven months off.

Trainer Lucy Wadham has been in solid form and can add another winner to her tally.

Fortune Forever got stuck in the mud at Warwick latest after a good win there and should be the biggest threat on this better ground.
