Texas downed the Mets 4-3 and 2-1, before losing the final game 6-5 as they split the series.
The Rangers then suffered back-to-back home defeats to Minnesota, losing 5-1 and 9-7, but they were able to end the week on a positive note, beating the Twins 6-5 on Sunday.
Verdict
Houston have dominated recent meetings and Texas' current form suggests that trend is likely to continue here.
