For the year, he is averaging 10.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and one assist per game. He is connecting on 63.4% of his field goals and 72.5% of his free throws.

Junior guard Jamal Shead has been red hot of late, scoring 10 or more points in 14 of the past 16 games. He's had one double-double during that span, recording 14 points and 10 assists in an 82-71 win at Central Florida on Jan. 25. He scored 10 points and dished out 11 assists in a 100-52 victory over Norfolk on Nov. 29. In Sunday's win over Cincinnati, he scored 16 points, dished out nine assists and grabbed four rebounds.

Senior guard Kendric Davis poured in 20 points, dished out six assists and grabbed five rebounds in Saturday's semifinal win over Tulane.
