Reach For The Moon will not be able to run in the Dante at York next week. He will instead be targeted at Royal Ascot. The Queen will be absent from the Classic on June 4. Piz Badile is on track with his Derby preparation and will head straight to Epsom. The Gosden family also withdrew ante-post 1,000 Guineas favourite Inspiral.

John Gosden, joint-trainer of Reach For The Moon, has withdrawn his horse from the Dante Stakes at York next week. He will be pointed towards Royal Ascot.

Donnacha O'Brien's Piz Badile is going straight to Epsom after Reach For The Moon's withdrawal. He has a lot of big-race targets later in the year and he didn't think he needed another run before the Derby to get him right.

Derby second favourite New London is the main attraction at Chester Vase (3.10) on Wednesday. Charlie Appleby has already taken one of this year's Classics with Godolphin-owned son of Dubawi. Savvy Victory and Ballydoyle's Changingoftheguard are also running in the race. Aidan O'Brien has interest earlier on the card with Thoughts Of June in Cheshire Oaks (2.40). Morning Poem and Moon De Vega have entries in Listed event. O’Brien's son Joseph has the shortest-priced contender for Epsom with Above The Curve (12-1).
