Lille are closing to winning the Ligue 1 title. PSG, Monaco and Lyon are also in the hunt. Lille won the league in 2010-11 with the help of Eden Hazard. LOSC are in pole position to clinch their first title since then. They have two games to play. The winner will be crowned with two matches to spare.

Lille have produced some of Europe's finest talents. They have sold some for large transfer fees, but they have bought some good players. Their biggest acquisition was Jonathan David, who they paid £23m for. Renato Sanches, Jose Fonte and Burak Yilmaz have also been bought. Lille are the favourites to win Ligue 1 this season.

Ligue 1 outfit sold their share in the deal to an investment firm. Boubakary Soumare is expected to sign for Leicester City. Sven Botman will be on the radar of European clubs. Luis Campos will find suitable replacements for the players he sells.

Christophe Galtier has been in charge of Lille since July 2017. He is the longest-serving coach in Ligue 1 after his eight-year spell with Saint-Etienne and another four with Lilles. LOSC finished second in 2018/19 and fourth in the coronavirus-affected campaign last year.

Lille are chasing the title. They have beaten PSG and Lyon in their own backyard and lost just three games all season. Lille's budget is lower than their title rivals. If they win their last two matches, they will be champions. PSg are three points behind them, but have a superior goal difference.
