How to bet the 2022 Dwyer Stakes
Six sophomores will travel a one-turn mile over the Belmont Park dirt in Saturday's Dwyer S. (G3) Stakes. Todd Pletcher's #1 colt Charge It (4-5) was second on debut in January and dominated a maiden special weight field at Gulfstream Park by 8 1/2 lengths on February 12. No Sabe Nada (20-1) has outrun his modest $2,000 yearling price tag by winning or placing in each of his six career tries for Scott Peck. Nabokov (2-2) came second at first asking at Keeneland and is a Chad Brown trainee. Runninsonofagun (8-3), a gelded son of Gun Runner, didn't fire in his initial try at the distance but should be fit for this test.
