James Tomkins and the 'Jamie Vardy' wonderhorse who could net Crystal Palace star £185,000 in one day

James Tomkins is co-owner of a sprinter called Rohaan. The three-year-old has shot up the ratings and Tomkin has already scooped a share of £116,000 from three of the horse's races. He could earn £185,00 if Rohana wins the Prix Maurice de Gheest in France next month. Tomkins likens the situation to Leicester's Jamie Vardy, who went from non-league to Premier League champion in nine years.

They won £51,039 with victory in the Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock, £64,800 at Wokingham and £115,839 from just three races since Tomkin became co-owner. Rohana could win a six-figure prize and his first Group 1 at Deauville on August 8.
