Joe McDonagh Cup Final: Campbell insists favourites’ tag is not a burden
Antrim are favourites for the Joe McDonagh Cup final against Kerry at Croke Park on Saturday at 4.30pm. Captain Eoghan Campbell believes Antrim have learned to cope with the pressure of being the favourites in recent years. Campbell's father, Tommy, passed away in 2019. He will be in the stands with his family on the day. He is aware of what the game will mean to the Campbell family circle. They will have his girlfriend, mother and aunties. The team won the McDagh cup in 2020. It was their first and they were promoted to Leinster Championship. There were no fans in attendance.
