John O'Mahony still striving to create eternal bonds

John O'Mahony is the manager of Salthill-Knocknacarra. He is also a former teacher and politician. O’Mahoney has been coaching for over 50 years. His team is on the verge of winning their first Galway SFC title since 2012. They play Moycullen on Sunday. O's Mahony's team has lost just once this season. It was to Mountbellew-Moylough. Martin McHugh's autobiography tells of O't Mahon's outstanding management. The former Leitrim goalkeeper was invited to the launch of the book.

John O'Mahony is preparing for his return to management in 2020. He has successfully battled cancer in recent years. O’Mahoney will have to devise a plan to stop Moycullen”s non-stop style of football. He will also have the task of stopping Seán Kelly, Paul Kelly and Peter Cooke.
