Jose Mourinho's first snub, Arsenal's 7-loan man and forgotten stars at the 2022 World Cup

The 2022 World Cup will see over 100 Premier League players going to Qatar. Spain, Germany, Brazil and Argentina will take part. Some of them have struggled in the Premier league and others have been forgotten. They are the players you may have forgotten about. They include Jose Mourinho's first snub and Arsenal's 7-loan man.

Guillermo Varela was the first player to be dismissed by Jose Mourinho. He played for Manchester United, Frankfurt and Penarol before being sold to Copenhagen and Dinamo Moscow.

Edimilson Fernandes will play for Switzerland at the 2022 World Cup. Fernande made over 50 appearances for West Ham after joining them in 2016 from Sion for £5m. He scored his only goal for the Hammers in the League Cup win over Chelsea. In 2018 he joined Fiorentina on loan and then Mainz on a permanent deal.

Andrej Kramarić played for Leicester City in the 2015/16 season. He made just two league appearances and scored one goal. In January he was loaned to Hoffenheim and later signed permanently.

Joel Campbell spent seven years on the books at Arsenal but only played 40 times for the club. He has been on loan seven times to teams in France, Spain, Greece and Portugal. His most successful spell was with Olympiacos in Greece, where he scored in a famous win over David Moyes' United side in the Champions League. Campbell has over 100 caps for Costa Rica and scored 25 goals for them.

Abdelhamid Sabiri was a bit part player for Huddersfield. He played for Paderborn and Ascoli before joining Sampdoria. Sabir has only won two caps for Germany.
