16:40 (Kempton) Xaarine

David Menuisier’s juveniles are ending the year on a high and Xaarine can strike another blow for the trainer in the Unibet Horserace Betting Operator Of The Year Nursery Handicap.

The Goken filly is yet to strike in four starts, but she has shown flashes of ability in placing in a couple of her novice outings.

Upped to Listed level at Deauville in August, Xaarine came home last of 10 but a move to handicap company can help her get off the mark.

18:45 (Kempton) Minnetonka

Minnetonka made no impact upped to Listed company last time out but Kempton’s Unibet More Extra Place Races Handicap should be well within her compass.

A winner on her juvenile debut in June 2022, Minnetonka then ran with credit in a series of Group race assignments, although those results ensured she started from a stiff mark of 92 this year.

Her string of luckless runs eventually saw her drop to 80 and she duly regained the winning thread with a Racing League win in September, before another series of placed efforts.

She was far too keen at Newmarket on what was really testing ground, so perhaps a return to the all weather can work the oracle.

19:15 (Kempton) Bohemian Breeze

Bohemian Breeze will need more to defy a 6lbs rise in weights however did impress winning over course and distance three weeks ago and may prove equal to the task.

Scintillante filled the runner-up spot tackling track and trip and could go well once more.

Market support behind stable debutant Balhambar would be interesting as he drops in level with first-time cheekpieces applied.

Boldly finished third on handicap debut at Newcastle and might have more to offer raised in journey.

20:15 (Kempton) Magicinthemaking

Dropping back to 6f will pose no issues for course specialist Magicinthemaking who went close tackling track and trip before fading into fourth over seven furlong here last-time-out. Holds every chance of returning to winning ways.

You Are Everything could go well running off the same mark as when fourth over this journey at Wolverhampton last start.

Clownsman could be in the mix if market signals are positive after a break. Previous course and distance winner.
