Kentucky football vs. Missouri: Betting line, prediction, keys to game

Kentucky football team has lost three of its last four games. Last season, the team won four of five games and went on to win the Citrus Bowl. This season's opponents are Missouri, Vanderbilt, Georgia and Louisville. The game against Vanderbilt is the only one where UK can expect to come out on top. Mark Stoops' team is coming off a 44-6 loss at Tennessee. They play Missouri in Columbia on Saturday.  

Stoops is trying to keep his team's morale up despite recent on-field results. University president Eli Capilouto visited him Sunday night to cheer him up.  Stops wants the fans to come back and cheer again. He's not shying away from criticism. The team needs the support. It's easier for a coach to do that when he has support from the administration. They're all in this together.  The loss to Tennessee on Saturday night was awful. On Sunday, he watched the film of the 38-point defeat.

Last week's game against Tennessee was a bad one for Will Levis. He didn't reach 100 yards passing and he didn’t throw a touchdown. His three interceptions tied a career high. But he threw for 372 yards and three touchdowns last week against Mississippi State. Kentucky's coach, Mark Stoops, doesn't blame him for the loss. Kentucky plays Missouri on Saturday. The game is a betting line.

Jacquez Jones injured his foot against Ole Miss and is out for the rest of the season. DeAndre Square is doubtful to play against Missouri. If he's not available, Trevin Wallace will start at weakside linebacker. Junior D'Eryk Jackson has started the last three games at middle linebacker to fill the void left by Jones.

Kentucky is favored by 1.5 points against Missouri.

Kentucky football team lost to South Carolina by 10 points last month. Missouri beat South Carolin's team last week. The Tigers beat Vanderbilt last weekend.
