Kerrin McEvoy is looking to start building winning momentum at Rosehill

Kerrin McEvoy turned down the opportunity to compete at the Magic Millions carnival to build some winning momentum at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday.

Kerrin McEvoy has a powerful book of nine rides at the Rosehill meeting. He is riding Touristic, the $4.60 TAB Fixed Odds favourite for the 2000m Rose Hill Bowling Club Handicap (2000m) on Saturday. Tourist is the son of English superhorse Frankel and was bought by Peter and Paul Snowden. Mcevoy is also riding Gracilistyla and Waverider Buoy. Gracillistyla had a three-start campaign earlier in the season and finished fourth in each race. Wveriderbuoy had an easy barrier trial going into her Rose hill return.

Kerrin McEvoy will ride Banju at Rosehill on Saturday. Waverider Buoy was well-backed when resuming at Randwick two weeks ago. Comeback mare Kibosh is an interesting mount for the Midway Handicap (1200m) at the Rose Hill. John Thompson-trained Kbosh has only missed a top two placing one time in 10 starts, winning three. Mcevoy has won more than 2100 winners in his 25-year riding career.

Huetor will be one of Kerrin McEvoy's feature race rides during the autumn carnival. Mcevoy rode Huetar, Saltaire and Promise Of Success to big-race wins last year. He has been busy in Sydney riding at Warwick Farm on Wednesday and Gosford Friday.
