Commander Frank won the Keystone Classic at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows on Wednesday. Big Baller Beane took the other split in the $75,300 stake for freshman colt and gelding trotters. Rich Gillock trains Commander Frank for Tom Brice, Bart Brices, Charles Receski and Ed Recski.
Big Baller Beane won Keystone Classic in a career-best time of 1:58.1. Big Boy Ernest finished second, while Biscoe came third. Steve Schoeffel conditions Big Ballers Beano for Virginia Schoffels, Kathy Schoesffles, James Reuther and Roger Romesser.
Continualou won the $17,600 Filly & Mare Open Handicap Pace for Dan Charlino, trainer Ron Burke and owners Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi LLC. All Day Sunshine and Ourlittlemiracle rounded out the ticket. Burke fashioned a four-bagger on the 13-race card. Charliño, Wilder and Merriman each enjoyed a triple. Thursday’s 13 race program at The Meadows features an $82,889 Keystone Classic for freshman filly pacers.
