Kinross steps back up in trip for Breeders' Cup Mile

Kinross is in the Breeders' Cup Mile at Keeneland. Ralph Beckett's horse has won five races this season. Modern Games is the favourite. Todd Pletcher's Annapolis is one of the home favourites.   The other entries are Chad Brown's Regal Glory and Domestic Spending. The draw for the race is not very clear. There is a strong international contingent. American-trained entrants Smooth Like Straight and Ivar finished second and third behind Space Blues at Del Mar last year. They are less expensive than their European rivals. It is also the case that the draw is less clear than usual.
