Kyle Larson wins Coca-Cola 600 as Hendrick breaks record

Kyle Larson won the Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR Cup Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He led 327 of 400 laps and won three of four stages. His teammate Chase Elliott finished second. It was the Hendrick Motorsports' 269th victory. The team has won six of 15 races in 2021. Kyle Busch finished third. Martin Truex, Jr. was a heavy favorite but he finished 29th. The next race is at Sonoma Raceway road course in Northern California. Kurt Busches and BJ McLeod dropped to the back of the field for the start of race because of unapproved adjustments.
