Argentina's 2-0 win over Australia on Saturday was Messi's 1,000th career match.
Kylian Mbappe has scored 33 goals in 63 games for France. He has played 11 World Cups. Thierry Henry managed six goals at World Cup, Zinedine Zidane five, and Miroslav Klose 16 for Germany. France are in the quarter-finals for the third consecutive World cup. They will play the winner of England vs Senegal.
