Lakers: Dream Team Or Redeem Team? LeBron James Picks Top All-Time International Squad
LeBron James believes the 2008 U.S. Olympic men's basketball team was the best international team ever. The Redeem Team roster featured eight Hall of Famers, including James, Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, and Dwight Howard. Jason Kidd, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade, Carlos Boozer and Chris Bosh also made the cut.
11 of the 12 players from the 1992 Dream Team have made the Hall of Fame. The only player from that team who didn't make it is Christian Laettner. Two of 1992's players were in their 30s. The 2008 Dream team's only one player was past his prime. If all the players on both teams were at their peak at the time of their Olympic appearances, the DreamTeam would probably have the edge. However, taken as they were, it could have been one heck of a battle.
