The Lakers are not a title contender despite their current roster. Rob Pelinka should focus on building a team around LeBron James and Anthony Davis. He should also bring someone to the front office who can do that job. He was supposed to be working with Magic Johnson. But Johnson stepped down to focus more on Twitter. It's time for Pelinkas to take over. The Lakers beat the Miami Heat on Wednesday night. They are a contender without LeBron and Antony Davis, but without Kevin Durant. Golden State Warriors are interested in selling their young players. Kevin is no longer on the Warriors. Lakers have found out that the ground-shifting piece capable of reshaping the title picture is not available.
