Lakers vs. Warriors same-game parlay predictions Feb. 22: Back Golden State to win, Curry to shine

Two teams looking to stay hot battle on Thursday when the Golden State Warriors host the Los Angeles Lakers.

The pregame narrative: Both squads entered the all-star break having won six of their past seven games but I'm fading Los Angeles, which has struggled on the road. Steph Curry should do his thing from deep while Anthony Davis is a good bet to be productive in the mid-range.

Lakers vs. Warriors same-game parlay

Parlay: Warriors moneyline + Curry over 4.5 threes + Davis over 24.5 points (+320)

Warriors moneyline (-182): Many were penning the eulogy for Golden State's dynasty just a few weeks ago. But the squad has won eight of its past 10 games and now enters the unofficial second half with new life.

Mind you, they're still just one game above .500, but the recent form has been encouraging.

Since Draymond Green returned to the lineup on Jan. 24, the Warriors are fourth in net rating (+8.9) and second in offensive rating (122.3).

Los Angeles has also been on a nice run, which makes this a tough game to call.

The Lakers are ninth in net rating with an 8-3 record over that span and have won four straight road games. But they're still 11-17 away from Crypto.com Arena this season, so I'll roll with the Warriors.

Other parlay picks

Curry over 4.5 threes (-225): Curry has been shooting the lights out lately, but what else is new?

The future Hall-of-Famer is shooting 46.5% from deep over his last 15 games and has cleared this line 10 times. The last time Curry played the Lakers he went 9-of-21 from three (that's not a typo, the game went into double-OT) and scored 46 points.

Los Angeles allows opponents to shoot 37.2% from deep, which is the 10th-highest mark in basketball. Expect Curry to have another big night.

Davis over 24.5 points (-130): Davis is in the midst of his best statistical season as a Laker and this is a good spot for him to go off.

The Brow is averaging 24.9 PPG on 55.3% shooting and has cleared this mark in 32 of 52 games this year (61.5%), including his lone meeting with the Warriors (29 points).

Golden State is the worst team at defending the mid-range — shots from four feet to the 3-point line — in basketball. They allow opponents to shoot 47.5% from that range, per Cleaning the Glass. Davis attempts 45% of his shots from that range, which ranks in the 95th percentile of all NBA players.
