Pick

The Red Wings opened up their season with a loss, but they actually played pretty well and had a chance to win. Tampa Bay is missing one of the better goalies in the league, but that didn’t slow them down against Nashville. I do think having Johansson in net is going to catch up to the Lightning, as they don’t have a great defense. Detroit was able to generate quite a few chances and they hit the post a couple of times in their first game, but I like them to get their first win of the season here.
