The Lismore Cup meeting was called off because of heavy rain. The opening race of the day was won by Swanston for Grafton trainer Greg Kilner. Rhythm Is A Dancer was the second race won for former Albury trainer Brett Cavanough. It's the third time in a year the Northern Rivers have been hit by heavy rains.
Jamie Kah came close to quitting racing in the fallout from the Air B’n B scandal last year. He was fined $5452 for breaching the rules of the Victorian Government. Jamie will be riding Zaaki in Underwood on Sunday.
