Listen to Astros vs Rangers ALCS: Home, Away & National Feeds
It’s time to head to the Lone Star state for a Texas-only 2023 American League Championship Series. For the first time ever, the Texas Rangers and the defending champion Houston Astros will clash in the ALCS.
While the 2023 AL West-winning Astros, making their seventh straight ALCS appearance, dominated the Rangers during the regular season (winning the head-to-head 9-4), the wild-card winners seem like a different team lately. In the playoffs, the Rangers have swept both the Tampa Bay Rays and Baltimore Orioles. Although the Astros remain the favorite to win the series (see odds below), we expect a tight, close series.
In Game 1 of the series at Minute Maid Park in Houston on Sunday, October 15, Jordan Montgomery will start for the Rangers while Justin Verlander will take the mound for the Astros. Listen to the game starting at 8:15pm ET on the SiriusXM App and web player, and see the full schedule and home and away channel assignments here.
