Jerar Encarnación and Luke Williams were optioned to Triple A. 1B Garrett Cooper was placed on 10-day injured. LHP Steven Okert was put on 15-days injured,

De La Cruz is on a nine-game hitting streak. Sánchez has also been hot recently. The Marlins have been MLB's worst offense vs. left-handed pitchers in 2022.

Brewers are tied with the Phillies for the final NL Wild Card spot. Milwaukee's leading home run hitter Rowdy Tellez will be available off the bench.
