Los Angeles Dodgers 2023 Playoff Schedule: Dates, Times & Series-by-Series Updates
The National League playoff field is finally set and while some postseason seeding is still in play on the season's final day, the Los Angeles Dodgers postseason position has been set in stone since the Braves decided to not lose almost any baseball games. This isn't the strongest Dodgers roster we have seen in recent years especially with all of the questions on the pitching side of things, but LA remains one of the most dangerous teams heading into the 2023 playoffs.
To help keep track of who the Dodgers are set to play this postseason and when, here is a look at their upcoming playoff schedule and their side of the bracket.
The Dodgers are locked in as the second seed on the National League side which means they get to avoid the madness that is the wild card round. Given that they have a bye, that also means they get an extra week of rest which hopefully will allow guys to heal up from the long regular season. Of note, the teams with byes last season (including the Dodgers) struggled in the division series, so it will be interesting to see if LA changes their preparation strategy during the off week this year.

Game Five at Home (if necessary) - Saturday, October 14th - Time: TBD, TV: TBS
The Dodgers exact NLDS opponent isn't known just yet, but they will play the winner of the matchup between the third and sixth seed in the wild card round. The Milwaukee Brewers are for sure going to be the third seed and will host the wild card series while the sixth seed will either be the Marlins or Diamondbacks depending on how the final day of season goes.
The Dodgers' rotation has been a bit of a mess due to injuries to guys like Walker Buehler and especially since Julio Urias was placed on administrative leave. However, it seems like a safe bet to assume that Clayton Kershaw and Bobby Miller in some order will be starting the first two games of the NLDS with Lance Lynn and Ryan Pepiot being in the mix to be the third starter. With all of the off days built into the divisional round, LA won't need more than three starters although the NLCS could be a different story.
