LSU vs. Auburn Prediction: SEC's Tigers Tangle on the Plains

LSU and Auburn have a rivalry. The nicknames for the games are: Earthquake, Pick Six, Whistle, Barn Burner, Victory Cigar, Missed Kicks, Grand Theft Auburn, and Clock Management.

LSU and Auburn are playing each other on Saturday. LSU won the last game. Auburn lost the game against Missouri in overtime. Both teams are 3-1 in the SEC. LSU had a week off after playing New Mexico and plastering them 38-0. The game will be interesting because both teams have different mindsets. They both lost to Penn State the week before. It will also be an interesting game because of the way both sides approach it.

LSU needs to keep getting Jayden Daniels in his comfort zone. LSU has got to be able to stop the run. Auburn's defensive front seven looks like a liability so far. Missouri was able keep its consistency on the ground.   Missouri gained 120 yards on ground against Auburn. Cody Schrader and Peat gained some quality yards as well.

Tank Bigsby has not topped 51 yards in any of his last three games. The offensive line has been boney-armed against good teams. Robby Ashford will start for LSU against the Bayou Bengals. The Tigers had 71 rushing yards against Mizzou, but they managed just 11 yards on the ground in the final four frames.

Bryan Harsin and his staff need to make better halftime adjustments. In their two games against Power 5 teams, the Tigers have scored six points in 60 minutes.

LSU is the better team and will win the game. Some Auburn higher-ups are hoping for a coaching change. LSU has more confidence and a better defense.
