Lucas: Tressel excited to be “on this side” in Madison

Mike Tressel got his undergraduate degree in math from Cornell College. He got a master's from South Dakota. His grandfather was one of the winningest coaches in Division III history. Mike's dad was the head coach at Hamline University and 11 seasons on the Ohio State staff. Uncle Jim won four Division I-AA national championships at Youngstown State and the 2002 BCS national championship with the Buckeyes. Teresel worked with Mark Dantonio at Cincinnati and Michigan State. He learned from Dantonio and Pat Narduzzi. The last two years he was defensive coordinator at Michigan.
