Magic vs. Nets prediction: NBA odds, picks, best bets for Tuesday

The Orlando Magic are looking to take that next step toward the NBA playoffs this season, and have posted a respectable 5-4 record to start the season.

The Magic travel to Barclays Center on Tuesday to face the Brooklyn Nets, who close out a quick two-game homestand.

The Nets have been one of the best teams against the spread this season with their 8-1-1 mark.

Orlando hasn’t been too shabby against the number by cashing in seven of nine games, capped off by a 112-97 home underdog win over Milwaukee on Saturday.

Last season’s Rookie of the Year Paolo Banchero has overcome a slow start to the season by averaging 24 points per game in the last five contests.

The home team won all three matchups between the Magic and Nets last season, with Brooklyn going 2-0 at Barclays Center.

The Nets picked up their second home win Sunday as they topped the Wizards, but Brooklyn continues to play without leading scorer Cam Thomas, who is sidelined with an ankle injury.

Let’s back Orlando here to cover as a three-point underdog on the road.

Best Bet: Magic +3 (-108, FanDuel)
