Man Utd told to bring former star back to have chance of competing for Premier League
Edwin van der Sar is the current CEO of Ajax. He played for Manchester United between 2005 and 2011. Jaap Stam won the Treble at United in 1999. United have been doing a lot of shopping at Ajax recently. Erik ten Hag, Lisandro Martinez and Anthony have already arrived. Van der sar has dismissed reports linking him with a move to Old Trafford. However, he maintains a positive relationship with the club. The former goalkeeper retired in 2011 after the Champions League final defeat to Barcelona.
