Man Utd warned they've signed wrong player with costly Antony transfer blunder

Antony is coming to Manchester United for £85m from Ajax. Bert van Marwijk believes United should have signed Cody Gakpo instead. Gackpo scored 12 goals in the Dutch top flight last season. He can make the difference with his ability to create things and assist. Van Mar wijk is curious if Antony can cope with the physical resistance in Premier League. He thinks Ajax did well to take €100m (£85M) from Manchester Utd.

Van Marwijk believes Cody Gakpo is more physically capable and team player than Antony. Antonio is expected to make his debut against Arsenal on Sunday evening. He is also expected in time to play against Leicester on Thursday. He has agreed a £200,000-per-week contract with Manchester United.
