March Madness: Elite 8 Schedule, Tip Times and Analysis for Sunday

The Final Four of the N.C.A. men's tournament will be determined on Sunday. No. 1 seed Kansas will play No 10 seed Miami in Chicago at 2:20 p.m. Eastern time. North Carolina will take on No 15 seed St. Peter’s in Philadelphia at 5:30 p.,m., Eastern.

The Kansas Jayhawks are the tournament favorite. They are playing Miami in the semifinals. The Jayhawk's success under coach Bill Self has been well documented. The team can grind out close wins, but its performances raise questions about whether it can last for three more games to win the championship. After the team’s win over Providence, Kansas forward Jalen Wilson said the players don't get rattled.

Miami reached the Elite Eight for the first time in its history. The team has a veteran roster with four players in their sixth year. They beat Southern California and Iowa State in the second round. Kameron McGusty scored 27 points against Iowa.

North Carolina has been to the Final Four six times since 2000. The Tar Heels used a 30-point game from sophomore guard Caleb Love to move past U.C.L.A. in the round of 16.

St. Peter's from New Jersey is the only 15th-seeded team to reach the round of 8. They beat No. 2 seeded Kentucky in the first round. The team's fans are in Philadelphia. St. Pete's has shot the ball well against taller, bigger teams. They face another lofty frontcourt in North Carolina’s Brady Manek and Armando Bacot.
