Mark Allen wins UK Championship after stunning comeback against Ding Junhui in York
Mark Allen beat Ding Junhui 10-7 in the final of the UK Championship in York. Allen came from 6-1 down to win seven frames on the spin and the match. The 36-year-old took the winner's cheque of £250,000 and his second ranking title of this season. Ding needed to reach the Masters to get into the world's top 16. Yan Bingtao clings on to his place in that tournament. Allen will play Barry Hawkins in The Masters in first round. He won the Northern Ireland Open in October.
