Dallas Mavericks are currently fifth in the Western Conference with a 35-24 record. They traded Kristaps Porzingis last week. Site editor Luka Doncic and Jalen Brunson are the team's best players. Dallas would finish the season with 53-29 record and finish as the fourth seed. The team would need to win 18 of their final 23 games to finish with that record, but it's possible. If they manage to do that, they would be the best team in Western conference. Dallas is closer to their best case scenario than before. It's a step back from the ceiling they had at the start of the year.
