Mavericks Odds: How to bet tonight’s game against the Trail Blazers
This might be the most confident I’ve felt heading into a game in a very long time. The Blazers stink. It’s the sort of stench that can only be eradicated with tomato juice and a pressure washer. With Jerami Grant listed as out, the Blazers don’t have a single player that can bother Luka. Luka will get exactly what he wants, whenever he wants, and the Blazers don’t have the firepower to keep up. Outside of a catastrophic shooting night by both Luka and Kyrie, the Mavericks should coast to an easy win.

For the first time this season, I’m picking the Mavericks to cover the spread. The reason is actually simple. After their win against the Jazz, Luka essentially said the team can’t mess around. It appears he’s focused and understands how important it is to take care of business against lesser teams. I expect another classic Luka performance.

If DeAndre Ayton misses tonight’s game, I like the overs for Derrick Lively. If he ends up playing, I LOVE Derrick Lively’s overs. Ayton plays with zero heart and will not match Lively’s hustle and intensity. As far as Luka, a 40 burger might be on the menu tonight.
