McLean's Selections & "Mark's Pick" for Keeneland on "Opening Day"
Keeneland Fall Meet starts on Friday, October 7. McLean and his team won't be posting their full picks on every race during the meet. Keeneland is the only track in the Commonwealth that doesn't retain them to provide picks free of charge to the public. Mclean will still provide some picks throughout the upcoming Keenland meet and will promote a special "Pick of the Day" from his friend Mark Drury. He will bet $20 on each of Mark's picks and donate the entire winnings to a favorite charity. Billy Drry was the stallion manager at Adena Springs Farm. His brother was custodian for horses Ghostzapper and Mucho Macho Man.
Hoopla (5) will be the first "Upset Special of the Meet" at the 2022 Keeneland Fall Meet. Alfie Solomons (6) goes for Keenland-slayer Wesley Ward. Misread (2) has run two solid races to start the career. Scripps (7) is a super-bred filly by Curlin and out of Stakes-winning Awesome Again mare. Magical Act (3) makes her career debut.
