Miami Heat vs Denver Nuggets Prop Bet Guide for Game 5

The Denver Nuggets won both games in Miami and have a commanding 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals. Can the Miami Heat take the Game 5 matchup and get to play one more game in front of their fans? Let’s take a look at the best Heat/Nuggets prop bets!

Gabe Vincent Prop Bet: Over 9.5 points

After scoring 42 points in the opening two games of the series, Vincent vanished in Game 3 and Game 4 in Florida. He dropped just nine points in 50 minutes on the floor and combined for -37 (Plus/Minus). It’s clear the Heat need Vincent on offense, and I am sure the Nigerian guard will bounce back from a 3-of-16 shooting he had in the previous two duels.

Gabe was only 1-of-10 from beyond the arc in that stretch, which must improve if the Heat want to stay competitive and alive in the series. The opening quarter at Ball Arena will be crucial for Vincent, who has to stay out of foul trouble. For the first time in the finals, Miami made fewer triples than Denver in Game 4. Vincent’s poor shooting played a big part, but that should change on Monday. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to make a profit by backing Vincent Over 9.5 points!

My Prop bet Pick: Vincent over 9.5 points

Max Strus Prop Bet: Over 1.5 Threes Made

Strus has been horrible in three of four games in the series. He shot 1-of-21 in that span (1-of-16 from downtown) – one of the main reasons the Heat lost all three games. Strus started all 22 games in the playoffs, and I expect him to get another starting nod on Monday despite his woeful displays. He tends to take a lot of three-point shots early on, and if he misses consecutive attempts, Strus (and his backers) will be in trouble.

The Heat are aware that without successful perimeter shooting, they are doomed, so I am backing Strus to help offensively, especially in the opening half. He made at least two triples in 77.27% of playoff games, and I believe Strus can hit 2+ this time out.

My Prop bet Pick: Strus over 1.5 threes made

Bam Adebayo Prop Bet: Over 10.5 rebounds

Adebayo has been the Heat’s most consistent player in the finals. He scored 20+ points in each game and recorded 11+ rebounds in three of four encounters. Even 12 of his boards came on offense (3.0 per game), and I expect him to add another 3-4 offensive rebounds in Denver. When it comes to defensive boards, Adebayo is the central figure in his paint – he registered a minimum of nine rebounds in each game against the Nuggets.

He will log at least 40 minutes in Game 5, barring foul trouble or a blowout, so backing him to get 11+ rebounds makes sense. Bam averages 22.2 ppg in the finals, but I am not sure about his point prop for this one, which stands at 20.5 points. That’s why I opted for rebounds, and I am pretty sure this is one of the best Heat/Nuggets prop bets available.

My Prop bet Pick: Adebayo over 10.5 rebounds

Aaron Gordon Prop Bet: Over 6.5 rebounds

Gordon was the best player in Denver’s Game 4 win; he impressed with game-high 27 points, but most importantly, he recorded seven rebounds and helped us in winning our Over 6.5 rebounds bet! I'll back him again in Game 5, and here’s why. Gordon grabbed 7+ boards in three of four games in the series and is averaging 7.5 rebounds per contest.

With Michael Porter Jr’s reduced role over the last two games (he didn’t play a single second in the 4th quarter), Gordon will have an opportunity to make an impact on both ends of the floor. The former Orlando Magic forward is logging 35-40 minutes in the finals, so feel free to back him Over 6.5 rebounds here because it is a Heat/Nuggets prop bet you must take!

My Prop bet Pick: Gordon over 6.5 rebounds

Bruce Brown Prop Bet: Over 11.5 points

Brown led the second unit in a Game 4 victory with 21 points and pretty much decided the tilt midway through the fourth quarter. It was only his second 20-point performance of the playoffs, but Brown’s role off the bench improved thanks to Porter Jr’s poor form. That said, Brown will surely get another 25-30 minutes on Monday and will be the go-to guy on offense when Jokic and Murray are on the sideline. Even with two of them on the floor in Game 4, Brown took a bunch of shots.

It was the first time in five games Brown had 11 attempts, five of which came from beyond the arc. Also, it was the first time he scored 12+ points. I am going with his hot hand and ability to change the course of the game off the bench. For the third consecutive game, Brown should play the entire fourth quarter, so expect most of his points to come in the final 12 minutes.

My Prop bet Pick: Brown over 11.5 rebounds
