Ross Smith beat Dimitri Van den Bergh 10 to 10 in front of 7,000 fans. The winner of this year's event will play Peter Smith in the last eight. The other winner will be either Gerwyn Price or Ross. It's the first time the event has been televised. There are eight second round ties in today's session.
