Michail Antonio now shares his prediction ahead of West Ham vs Liverpool tonight

West Ham United striker Michail Antonio has now shared his prediction for his side’s Premier League clash against Liverpool tonight.

Speaking on The Footballer’s Football Podcast with Newcastle United’s Callum Wilson, the Hammers attacker claimed the match at the London Stadium will be a difficult test, but he doesn’t see why they can’t come away victorious.

“Obviously, Liverpool’s always a difficult game,” said Antonio.

“They’ve picked up a nice little run of form now.

“They’ve kind of changed their philosophy, how they play, with Trent coming into midfield.

“A lot of people are starting to do that now at the top, like Man City, Arsenal and now Liverpool are doing it.

“So, like it’s obviously difficult to mark with the right back going in there, but you know what, we got a nice little draw [against] the league leaders, so yeah, you never know – anything’s doable.

“We’ve started picking up form ourselves, need one more win. Why not? It can be against Liverpool, why not?”

Antonio previews West Ham vs Liverpool

Although the Reds came away with three points against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, they hardly looked convincing in doing so – especially at the back.

The Tricky Trees are currently 19th in the Premier League table, and they caused Liverpool numerous issues in front of goal.

Having put four past Bournemouth, West Ham will be full of confidence going into tonight’s game.

The Irons need a win to ensure their top-flight safety, so they will be ready to fight for the result.

Liverpool, on the other hand, are very unlikely to make the top-four. However, they can still qualify for the Europa League.

Therefore, with three points up for grabs, this game really could go either way.
