Mike Tyson was too busy partying and having sex to prepare for his fight with Buster Douglas. Tyson lost the fight in the 10th round. He had seen off all 37 of his previous opponents. The odds were stacked against him. His manager had to pull him from a public sparring session. He didn't make weight. There was no ice pack for Tyson's swollen left eye. Douglas won the bout. It was the first time Tyson had been knocked out in a fight. In his autobiography, Tyson wrote that he didn’t consider Douglas much of a challenge.
