MiLB Roster Count Heading into 2023 Is a Little Below 180 but Changes Will Be Coming

MiLB Roster Count Heading into 2023 is a little below 180. Changes are coming to the system. The Cubs don't officially have to assign players to a roster for a few months yet.

The current roster count is 171 players. The number will probably increase after the end of spring training. There are some players who were acquired in the rule five draft. They are playing for Iowa, Tennessee and South Bend. The Arizona team in Mesa has 44 players and the full season squads are 127 players each. Andres Bonalde, Craig Brooks, and Jesus Camargo are still rostered. Bryce Windham and Tim Susnara will move up from Tennessee. It's assumed that Bryce windham will play for the Cubs. Susnaara missed all of 2022. Cubs will make changes after June. and then again after draft, depending on player availability.
