Milwaukee Bucks Listed Fourth on BET MGM NBA Championship Odds

The Milwaukee Bucks for the last several years have been near the top of the sports betting odds to win the NBA title. On BET MGM, Milwaukee has the fourth-best odds to win the 2023-2024 NBA title at +700.

Throughout the course of the NBA offseason, many different websites have had the Milwaukee Bucks as the top team in the Eastern Conference and the second-best team in the NBA behind the Denver Nuggets. However, these Vegas odds are trying to tell us otherwise about the Bucks heading into the 2023-2024 NBA season.

One of the reasons why the Milwaukee Bucks could be fourth on this list is because of the age of this basketball team. There is not enough youth on this roster. Health has also been a concern over the past couple of seasons. Khris Middleton has not stayed healthy and will need to be in order to capture another title. Jrue Holiday and Brook Lopez are not getting any younger either.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is easily one of the best players in the NBA and this is why the Milwaukee Bucks are near the top of the betting rankings on BET MGM. Another disadvantage could be switching from Mike Budenholzer to Adrian Griffin Jr, as head coach. The Denver Nuggets are the favorites to repeat as NBA Champions. Nikola Jokic is probably the best player in the NBA at the current moment. Denver has its core in place with him, Jamal Murray, and Michael Porter Jr. They have solid depth and Mike Malone is a very good head coach.  It would have been epic if the Denver Nuggets faced the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Finals a season ago.

The Boston Celtics have the second-best odds on BET MGM to win the 2023-2024 NBA title next season. Boston made a shake-up to its roster during the offseason. The Celtics traded away Marcus Smart to the Memphis Grizzlies and they also acquired Kristaps Porzingis from the Washington Wizards. Boston is committed to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown as its core pieces.

Derrick White will be the new point guard. Malcolm Brogdon will still come off the bench. A lot of questions will surround head coach Joe Mazzulla. Lastly, this is the team that will be the biggest challenger to the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference this season. It feels like the Boston Celtics have a deeper roster than Milwaukee does and Vegas says they will be the best team in the East.

The Phoenix Suns will have a new big three this season with Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal. Beal was acquired via trade from the Washington Wizards. They also kept Deandre Ayton on the roster and also signed some other bench pieces in the offseason. Monty Williams is no longer the head coach and Frank Vogel is the new head coach.

He will pretty much force his players to play defense with an offensive-minded team. In 2021, the Milwaukee Bucks faced them in the NBA Finals and won it for the first time in decades. It feels like the big three experiment may not work, but time will tell.
