Milwaukee Bucks vs Indiana Pacers Bets and Predictions

Indiana has had a rough go at things over the past several weeks. Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton went down a few weeks ago, really shifting those Indiana Pacers odds. Most NBA picks today would be going against these guys, as they have been without him and some other key guys of late.

The Milwaukee Bucks schedule meanwhile, is never easing. This is a team that has to always go toe-to-toe with the best. It’s a squad that will always be playing hard, and with their big three finally reunited, they are ready to show the rest of the league just how good they are. Being 31-17 with only nine games of Khris Middleton is pretty good, huh?

This NBA matchup will be an interesting one to watch tonight and gives you the opportunity to cash in on some good betting lines as well.

Friday night will mark the second time in twelve days that the Pacers and Bucks are getting together. In a high-scoring affair in Milwaukee, the Bucks came away with a 132-119 victory. NBA player stats included Myles Turner adding 30, with TJ McConnell pouring in an impressive 29 for Indy.

Jrue Holiday guided a Giannis-less Bucks team to the W with a very impressive 35 points and 11 assists. This was amidst his best offensive stretch of the season, making sure he could lift his squad to the W.

Tonight’s matchup is the second of four games that these squads will play on the 2022-23 NBA schedule.

This one will no doubt be watched by all of the NBA pundits. The Bucks vs Pacers prediction is one many fans of other Central Division teams will be keeping their eyes on.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Indiana Pacers Analysis

This is the section that will make the Bucks vs Pacers prediction easier to make.

The Bucks are Going Through a Hard Time

Unfortunately for Milwaukee, Bobby Portis suffered a knee injury earlier in the week. One of the frontrunners to win the sixth man of the year award, there is no one player they can use to replace him. With his double-double average, toughness, and shooting ability gone, they will have a tougher time.

It will be on Jevon Carter to come in and make a few more shots. On Brook Lopez to be able to handle more minutes. Perhaps, a trade can happen at the deadline for them to try and improve upon that hole in the lineup.

Coming into the game, Giannis has been averaging better than 30 points and 11 rebounds, posting incredible numbers yet again. In years past, this would be enough to make him the mP frontrunner. But that race is wild now, with the crazy improvements of Luka Doncic, Jayson Tatum, and Nikola Jokic.

The Pacers Have Gotten Some Incredible Play this Season

As for the Pacers, Haliburton will remain out of the lineup, while they will hope to get Andrew Nembhard (illness) back on the floor. The talented two-way rookie has had some incredible moments this year, and they have missed him. Chris Duarte hasn’t filled his void very effectively, and it’ll be important for Nembhard to help guide the defense.

They have gotten some incredible play this season from Myles Turner, who many expected them to move before the year even began. NBA odds today have this team keeping things pretty close as he has continued to play well. He can spread for the floor and knock down the three while being an elite rim protector on the other side.

His backup, Isaiah Jackson, has had some wild block performances on the season. He even blocked a Zach LaVine three-point attempt the other night. This is an athletic, scrappy bunch. And now that their losing streak is broken, truly anything can happen when they’re on the court.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Indiana Pacers Betting Pick and Prediction

Pick 1: Indiana Pacers +8

NBA player stats have a way of being slightly overinflated in today’s game, but Indiana still boasts a number of tremendous individuals. With Haliburton out of the lineup, TJ McConnell has stepped up in a few that few folks saw coming. In his last seven games, he has posted three double-doubles in which he has had double-digit assists. He had a contest where he scored 25 points in the first half on 9-9 from the floor.

The Pacers might not have any individual that plays at a superstar level, but NBA team stats show that they have the ability to play good basketball together and win games; they just need to stay healthy and bring effort every night.

Buddy Hield has made at least four threes in four of the team’s past six games. His shooting ability can bring them back from any deficit.

The Bucks meanwhile, without Portis, may struggle a bit. Giannis will be able to put up 40 and 20 without breaking a sweat on some nights. But, this doesn’t mean it instantly guides them to a win. On Monday night, the Bucks let the Pistons score 130 points. They needed 150 in order to claim the win.

The defense is a little broken right now, and they’ll struggle to contain Indiana. Look for them to put up a lot of points, to favor the O/U topping up. But, the good news may stop there.

With all of that said, the Bucks vs Pacers prediction is as follows.

  • Indiana +8
