Mariana Maverick and Shanna Young had an exhibition bout in 2019. Maverik won the fight with a first-round submission. Young was hospitalized on weigh-in day due to a botched weight cut. She is bigger and more powerful than Maveric. They have the same reach and Mavericks has the speed advantage.
