MLB: Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers top the list of 2024 World Series favorites
NEW DELHI: Oddsmakers have made the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers the favorites to win the 2024 World Series, despite both teams being eliminated in their first playoff series this year.
The Atlanta Braves, who led the majors with 104 regular-season wins this year, are listed as the top choice to win the 2024 World Series. They have odds of +600 at FanDuel, +650 at BetMGM, and +700 at DraftKings.
The Braves were eliminated in theNational League Division Series by the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Los Angeles Dodgers, who won 100 games this year and finished 16 games ahead of the NL West champion Arizona Diamondbacks, are the second-favorite to win the 2024 World Series. They have odds of +700 at FanDuel, +750 at DraftKings, and +800 at BetMGM. The Dodgers were swept by the Diamondbacks in their NLDS.
Both FanDuel and DraftKings have listed the Texas Rangers and the Houston Astros, the past two World Series champions, as co-third favorites. The Rangers and Astros have odds of +800 at FanDuel and +900 at DraftKings. BetMGM puts the Astros in third place at +900, followed by the Rangers at +1000.

Among teams that missed the playoffs this year, the New York Yankees have the shortest odds to win the 2024 World Series, with odds of +1300 at DraftKings and +1600 at FanDuel and BetMGM.
The Oakland Athletics and Colorado Rockies are considered longshots, with the potential for the biggest payouts if they were to win the championship in 2024.
