MLB’s NL Rookie of the Year Odds

Julio Rodriguez is the favorite for the 2022 AL Rookie of the Year. Oneil Cruz is in contention for NL Rookie Of The Year, but the other preseason top contenders are nowhere to be found.

The Atlanta Braves have good representation in the Rookie of the Year battle. Chicago Cubs have a pair of players who are also contenders. Nolan Gorman, Brendan Donovan, and Juan Yepez are contenders for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Cruz and Thomas are the only players in the top 10 at both times of the season.

Spencer Strider is the favorite for the NL Rookie of the Year award. He has a 2.20 ERA, 9 walks, and 48 strikeouts in 6 starts. His 1.02 WHIP is among the best among Braves starters. Striders one bad start was against the Washington Nationals. He will be a key contributor to a World Series team.

The 2022 National League Rookie of the Year odds are changing.

Michael Harris is a contender for the 2022 NL Rookie of the Year award. He is playing for Atlanta Braves. Harris had one hit in his first nine at-bats. His batting average has improved recently. Austin Riley is also a top contender. He's hitting .289 in the last 11 games. The Braves are also in contention for MVP.

Christopher Morel is the Chicago Cubs' best rookie in 2022. He's hitting .264 with nine home runs and 29 RBIs. His team is nowhere near playoff contention. He has played seven more games than Michael Harris. More l is currently hitless in his last 16 at-bats. The Cubs are nowhere in the playoff hunt.

Christo is the favorite to be the NL Rookie of the Year.

Spencer Strider, Michael Harris and Christopher Morel are the top NL Rookie of the Year sleepers for 2022.

Brendan Donovan is having a successful rookie season. He had a tough start, going 2-13 in his first 10 games. Donovan doesn't have elite power, but his hitting was on full display in June. His batting average was as high as .341 after four multiple-hit performances in five games and he hit .321 with 17 RBIs in that month.

Luis Gonzalez is a rookie with the San Francisco Giants. He won NL Rookie of the Month in May. Gonzalez's overall numbers are on pace with top Rookie's Year contenders. He's hitting .231 since June 1. His (+8000) odds are good value for NL ROY. The Giants are struggling. They have a young player with +8000 odds.

Spencer Strider is the favorite for the 2022 National League Rookie of the Year. Brendan Donovan is my favorite value pick. Michael Harris and Christopher Morel are also possibilities.
