Which Atlanta Braves player will win NL Rookie of the Year?
Michael Harris II and Spencer Strider are in the running for the National League Rookie of the Year award. Atlanta is hoping to repeat as World Series Champions. Brendan Donovan, Lars Nootbaar, Jake McCarthy, Alek Thomas, Andre Pallante, Alexis Diaz, Graham Ashcraft, and Nick Lodolo are also considered.
Michael Harris II is the current NL Rookie of the Year. Harris is a 21-year-old centerfielder who has played in 43 Double-A and zero Triple- A games before his promotion. He's started 88 of 89 games since joining the team.
Spencer Strider has won nine games and recorded 174 strikeouts in 114 innings for the Braves this season. He has already thrown 18.1 more innings than he did last year combined between the minors and Atlanta. Harris is a better bet for Rookie of the Year award. The awards ceremony is expected to take place in a month. The winner will be announced.
