Monmouth NJ football on National Signing Day: How did Hawks do?

Monmouth football signed 21 players as part of the NCAA's early signing period. Monmouth finished 5-6 in their first season in the Colonial Athletic Association. The Hawks lost All-American quarterback Tony Muskett to Virginia. Graduate student Marquez McCray will start at quarterback for Monwreck. There are also two quarterbacks, two defensive linemen and three offensive linemen. The only Shore Conference athlete is kicker/punter Michael Calton, Jr. from Manalapan. It's Monstorm's first recruiting class as a member of Colonial. Head coach Kevin Callahan praises the class.

Deuce Lee is an DB, 5'11 185 from Gonzaga. Marcus Middleton is TE from Germantown, MD. Tra Neal is receiver from Frederick, Maryland. Rodney Nelson is RB from Owings Mills, Delaware.
