NASCAR at Bristol 2022: Odds, Preview and Top Storylines

Christopher Bell is the only driver who booked a spot in the round of 12 based on points. He will race at Bristol on Saturday night. Kyle Busch is set to leave Joe Gibbs Racing and compete for Richard Childress Racing in 2023. Erik Jones and Bubba Wallace won their first races of the season at Darlington and Kansas.

Kyle Busch has signed a deal with RCR for the 2023 season. He is going to Bristol on Saturday night. Bush needs to win to qualify for playoffs. He's currently 12th in the standings. Tyler Reddick is two points ahead of him.

Kevin Harvick has had the worst start to the postseason of any driver. He finished in 33rd and 36th at Darlington and Kansas. The results put him 35 points behind going into Bristol. Harrick is the only one of the 16 playoff drivers who is in a must-win situation to advance.

Eleven of the 12 spots in the round of 12 are still up for grabs. William Byron, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney, Alex Bowman, Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson and Ross Chastain are all in contention. Daniel Suarez, Reddick, Cindric, Busch, Austin Dillon, and Chase Briscoe are fighting for the final three spots. The first two races of NASCAR's postseason had unexpected results. The drivers didn't win.
